But still begs the question, if he ran his franchise into the ground, why in the world would anyone with half a brain select him as one of their "front men"?

You also said that he is to blame for it. I highly doubt that the owners feel that way or he would not be the co-chair of the negotiations committe. By all reports, Richardson is greatly respected by his other owners.

I also understand that you like to tweak Panthers' fans and feel like your shit doesn't stink because your team has been on a roll lately after sucking for 30 straight years or so, but let's see how your fortunes are after Belichek leaves before you crown Kraft the greatest owner ever award.

Walsh ran the wishbone one year with scabs I think. Would be interesting.

So not only are owners, incl Kraft, behind him, Brees says JR wasnt disrespectful. Sounds like the NFLPA is leading some of you around.

Or Brees took the high road. There was nothing in the link you posted that disputes the actual comments by Richardson reported elsewhere.

What credible source has said this? I've seen it nowhere. I've only seen speculation.

And Manning's "idiot kicker" has a lifetime FG percentage of 86.5, and in the 2005 season it was 92%; meanwhile, in that same season, Manning choked in the divisional playoff game long before the idiot kicker choked, and then Manning blamed everybody else for his own chokage, and bitched when his "idiot kicker" correctly called him out.

So, if JR did call out the arrogant, whiny, and self-absorbed Manning, more power to him. Why was Manning even there?

He said no one was disrespectful. He was in the room. He isn't an unnamed source. Simpler explanation is that Manning is whiny.

And other people in the room said JR was a tool.

It is possible that JR is an asshole who said those things and Brees still took the high road. That's a pretty simple explanation too.
