    1. Buys 12-15 months to mitigate loss
    2. Ensures two consecutive #1 overall picks
    3. More time passes from 2010's titanic disaster

I know my shit, and I know that nobody, including JR, would prefer a lockout. But its a fact: he stands to gain the most by a year off. Period.

I will simply say it again. The NFL players are employed by their respective franchises. When they receive their weekly game check, it's paid by their team. Thus, they are employed by that team. An employee, typically, is not in any position to examine their CEO's monthly P&L statement. Same is true here. Players have no real legal power to examine an owner's losses vs. profit. Never have, never will. Not saying I agree or disagree. Just being practical.

I'll say it again. I'm betting they install a lottery (even if for only 1 year) and the Panthers DON'T get back to back #1s.

Every credible source says the #1 pick will rollover to 2012. A lottery? Perhaps, and in that case, I can see your point.

I'd watch scabs with NFL coaches. That might be interesting. Though I don't watch the UFL.

If he's such a laughing stock, how come many of the other owners are willing to let him represent them?

I bet there would be a lot of Wildcat.

    And spread offenses.

    And Herschel Walker.

And the return of the San Diego Chicken.

    And lots of beer commercials.

And it won't be a quarterback's league anymore.

And the Panthers might win a Scab Super Bowl.

Try reading my post again...I wrote "his franchise is the laughing stock of the league". Comprehension is key.
