Alot has happened since November. Drew is long gone, Barnes is playing like a star now, and the Heels are a lock for the NCAA.

Yes, glad to see this happen this year. Although the team will still struggle due to youth at times, they are a lot better with this move.

The game at Clemson might have been enough to set back college basketball for years. It was UGLY, UGLY, UGLY !!!!

But it was a win, win, win.

I think the Clemson game was a bit of a trap game, so I'm willing to take the win. I only call it a trap because it was the 3rd road game in like 6 days, Carolina was just coming off and emotional/hard fought game with Duke, and they were playing a Clemson team that had some rest. So to leave with a win there is good enough.

    SMU violates NCAA basketball rules.

    Alina Dain

SMU has announced that its men’s basketball team violated NCAA text messaging rules, Dallasnews.com reports. As a result SMU will go on probation for two years.

Reportedly SMU coaching staff sent forbidden text messages to recruit parents between 2007 and 2009. None of those athletes chose SMU. According to SMU, fifth-year coach Matt Doherty :shaggy: may have received “erroneous advice” that the texts were ok. :nono:

The NCAA acknowledged that the school did not knowingly violate the NCAA basketball rules regarding text messaging, but the organization accepted the school’s self-imposed sanctions.

Congrat's to the Tar Heels for looking like garbage for 36 minutes and still pulling a win out of our kazoos. As a Tar Heel fan, it nearly brought tears to my eyes.
