    Per Adam Shefler: Some people want Richardson out of the current negoiations due to his hawkish behavior. What exactly is hawkish behavior?

    Rumors (are they just rumors now?) are that Richardson has become a very difficult person to be around and work with since his heart problems. I think his actions over the last year with the team and with the bargaining agreement/ negotiations within the NFL could really hurt the franchise going forward. I'm not sure the way the guy has been handling things that we'd have many free agents that would want to come play for the organization.

    I certainly hope this plan that some speak of that Richardson has for the team works out. I'm having a hard time at the moment seeing this vision he has for us playing out in a good way for the future of the team.

    Hawk & Dove were terms at one time representing peaceful/Doves and warish or combative/hawks.

    Let's see. Gets a heart, fires his sons. Cuts veteran players. Lets his coaches go. Accepts a losing season. Blasts reporters at news conference with a pie chart in the face. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    I think the order is messed up, but you get the idea.

    Things are certainly not the same as they used to be. I am about as down on this team as I have ever been, not because they have no talent but because the future does not look like it used to. At one time I thought JR was committed to winning superbowls but now I am not so sure.

    I am not a doctor but I do know that once the heart quits pumping blood to the brain the is always the chance of damage. I wonder if something happened during his transplant. The presser he almost acted hammered to the gills. I'm thinking Goodell gets him out of the negoiations really qiuckly. Say what you will he is smart enough to know they are playing with fire. I just wish they would get this mess settled and let's get ready for some positives next season.
