My only beef with Collin is his inability to get motivated.

Be careful with Mr. Gantt. He's an avid TBR reader, and he will find you.

I'm pretty sure I wrote those Emails to grown men, not 14 year old girls. That was unbelievably mild for me, and you're a complete fucking moron if you think what I wrote was too insulting or contentious for a rational response.

you get similar responses from a majority of the people you engage with but they are always the morons. unbelievably mild for you might still be straight up A-hole, I'm just saying....

That being said, I liked the email, if nothing else I think they deserve the heckling.

Usually because they are morons. People don't like to be corrected, even if you try to do it politely.

I'm a Gantt fan after reading all that. And Sorensen's first line was nice as well. Collin, why don't you write a letter to their boss and steal their jobs?

Is that why you got your panties in a bunch because I questioned your approach? Look, you wanted something from them. But you backed them in a corner and forced them to come out fighting before you made one freaking point. This has nothing to do with being 14 years old...but rather human nature. You're right...people don't like to be corrected. But they really don't like to be corrected while being told they suck and having their professionalism questioned.

do you ever think your concept of "politely" might just be warped?

If you would've made your points without the 1st paragraph...maybe would've gone further. Heck, if you replaced the 1st paragraph with a little compliments to their writing (I know, you'd have to lie through your teeth), they might've given it a second thought. Though I agree the beat writers are a joke in this town, telling them that before you ask a question probably isn't going to get them thinking about the question.
