PSL owners and the CBA

    Like some of you, I am a PSL owner and have been since Day one. Like you I got the letter from the team the other day. It seems invoices are coming as usual in March.
    It does state there will be refunds offered should there be games missed due to a work stoppage. Of course it does not mention paying you interest for your money or the amount of interest they will make on such a huge collective amount of money.
    By the PSL agreement we are contractually obligated to buy tickets each year or lose our PSL rights.
    My question and my postion is by that thinking should the team also not be obligated to provide me with football to watch? ( hold the bad/good football jokes...lol)

    I wish a bunch of psl owners would sue Jerry Richardson. May not win but it would be nice to the fans fight back.

    Sue for what? are you going to foot the bill for the legal fees for a lawsuit that can't be won?

    some lawyer would be willing to class action it simply to get his name in the paper. Furthermore... could there be a chance a lawyer could own PSLs?? Bet he might go pro bono for that.

    sue for anything. sue for jerry richardson failing to put a nfl worthy product on the field. failing to put nfl worthy people in charge. We are expected to pay nfl ticket prices. we should expect to see an nfl team....besides the visitors.

    a pissed off lawyer with PSL's would be a great thing even if you didnt win it would generate a bunch of negative publicity

    going to be interesting to see what happens when it's time for a new stadium. Wonder if existing psl's will transfer or people will have to rebuy. I think people are going to tell JR or whoever owns the team to fuck off.

    well you can't sue them for having a shitty team or stupid management.If you could the Lions would have been sued years ago.
    But I think if I am obligated to buy those tickets they are obligated to have football games or be in breach of contract and thus there are damages.

    I suffer a loss if i can't go with my friends to watch bad football and see pickle get sacked.

    you are not obligated to buy tickets. you can tell them to shove them up their asses if you really don't like the product that much.
