Screw a trade of any kind now. With our new D staff, I want Fairley , a beast with a mean streak , anchoring our D line while we pound these NFCS QB's .
We'll find a QB somewhere else.

I would not give up a first round pick for Kolb. What has he done to make you think he is worth that? Andy Reid churns out QBs who do well in his system and then fail elsewhere.

Yeah, I'm slowly, hand over hand, inch by agonizing inch, starting to climb up onto that Fairley bandwagon for the same reason.

Now I'm not sure what "elsewhere" is going to yield a franchise QB next season - there don't seem to be any available - but Kolb ain't no franchise QB anyway. If we have to go "Band-Aid" with somebody else, so be it.

If you look at the final four teams I would argue that Sanchez and Cutler are little more than game managers. They may have been high draft picks but they are not the reason their teams are winning games. Certainly they are "good" QBs but far from Manning, Brady, Brees, quality.

Rogers and Big Ben are big reasons why their teams are winning but both get a lot of help from very good defenses.

We need a good QB but we are not doomed if we do not get an elite QB.

Putting Jay Cutler in the same game manager category as Sanchez is retarded. Is he on Rogers or Rapists level? No, he's probably a tier below that, but don't lump him in with the guy whose team was second in the NFL in rushes.

Fair enough but he is hardly carrying the Bears on his back. Finding a QB as good as him is not as far fetched as finding another Brady or Manning.

Heard on the radio that Orton could probably be had for a 3rd. But it's talk radio so you know about how much that info is probably worth.

Something tells me that they'd want more from us than others.

A 3rd for Orton is more reasonable but I would consider myself lucky to get that for him if I were Denver. If they got our 3rd rounder they would be getting more from us than anyone else since our 3rd rounder is the first pick in that round. I would hate to not draft in the 2nd or 3rd rounds though. I wonder if there are any guys on our roster that Fox would really like to have in Denver that could make that Orton for a 6th round pick and a player? Dan Connor maybe?

    Fuck Andrew luck:backstabber:

All i know is QB was Foxs Achilles heal during his tenure here. Rivera better not make the same mistake. Finding a leader at the QB position is vital.

If that means sitting Clausen behind a Hasselbeck for 3-4 years so be it.
