Ron Rivera's demeanor and approach

I didnt get to see or hear the presser. I really like his pedigree of having played on what was arguably the best defensive team in NFL history. I like the fact that he has coached his defense to a #1 NFL ranking. He has walked the walk and talked the talk of a DC, now we have to see if he can talk the talk of a HC.

He was nervous? How many first time HC's werent a bit nervous in that situation. Sometimes those nerves are what drive us to succeed, I would rather him experience nerves than the feeling that he has it all under control given that he is in uncharted waters for himself.

Now about that OC and the #1 pick.....

 

If he was nervous that's a great sign. That would mean he gives a shit . .. unlike some complacent "it is what it is" asswipe who sticks to a dying (dead) philosophy and steals 6 mil.

 

His public speaking abilities will mean nothing if he can field a good team.

 

Nice feature on him and the wife. No mention of pretty feet.

Nervous? I did not see that at all. He seemed confident to me. I did notice that he seemed like he had to hold himself back from tackling somebody. He is that intense.

 

I didn't see nervous either. He was excited, but confident, and I think he handled the press well.

 

Eagles system = DeSean Jackson.
