wanted to come back to this. FWIW, there were times with Henning in Miami that looked respectable, but it got worse every year with him there. 12th, 17th, 21st.

As long as he understands the object of the game is to score TOUCHDOWNS,,, and that the punt should NOT be a play on page 1 of your playbook, then I'll be fine with him. He definitely appears to have a lot of fire, which this team probably needs.

He seemed nervous to me. I haven't blown a wad of cum on the floor yet with this guy like some here, and I'm glad there's a lot of excitement with him, but he said the things a new HC has to say. And honestly, I hope he's not this chattery when the season comes. But yeah---he seemed REALLY nervous.

He kept cutting the reporters off...he was loud, then backed off, he talked fast, he was a hair fidgety, and all the cool stuff he said about attacking? Let's give a little credit to JR. These are the things he's adamant about this team doing this year. Rivera was just mostly repeating what JR wanted him to say.

Either way, I hope he works out.

I agree with the nervousness. It might be a combination of excitement and all that has happened so quickly. His analysis was dead on and everything I wanted to hear. But talking about it is one thing, we'll see over the following months what kind of coach he is.

Agree completely. It's going to depend on the coaches he hires. How he assembles his team will tell us more about his likelihood of success than a press conference. Bad coaching choices (Davidson) are what did Fox in, not his philosophy. I think old-school still works, if you execute it.
