    Barring some team going "full retard"...

    Newton has no business getting drafted in the first round. I think he is a 3rd rounder.

    He will go much higher, and that team's fans can sleep at night knowing that they are getting Cecil that $180K he has always wanted and his mom can get a whole wardrobe of rhinestone-adorned Cam jerseys.

    They will then move Cam to a TE before cutting him.

    Cam had a pretty bad game last night. And if that was the first time you saw him play you probably spent most of the game cussing Luck for not coming out.

    On the other hand Fairley was a fricken beast.

    Mel said a lot of good stuff about a lot of unworthy players. One of them is here already. Not that Fairley is that, just I don't really give a shit what Kiper has to say.

    If you dont take Fairley who do your take?

    Another WR? That means Smitty surely goes.

    We can build the team by adding a DT like Fairley. Better DTs usually result in better LB play.

    Draft WR and were just replacing known for unknown.

    And as of taday Jimmy is still gonna be the one throwing them the ball.

    Adding a quality TE would add more to the passing game IMO than trading Smitty for Green, Julio or Jeffries.

    Do SD have any WRs hitting FA?
