It's not just the Panthers, it seems to be every team in the league that does that now.

he is gonna kick some ass. going to stay with the org philosophy of building from within. sounds like plan is for deangelo to come back. not so sure about smitty ... depends on smitty. if we are stuck with jimmy, smitty's probably gonna want out. expect OC and DC will have similar demeanor ... tough and no nonsense. old-fashioned values to the core.

john fox on steriods. plus i think he will look good on the sidelines. i like him.

Sounds like he is willing to give Clausen a chance, but they will determine a franchise QB. Did he take a shot at the TE by saying he wanted one that could do it all?

    No BS, that's for sure.

Liked what he said about TE. Complimented the ones here, but indicated we're gonna go get a good one.

I'm a little behind. But the roster stuff impressed me. Guy was prepared for both the interviews and the press.
Sounds like he broke down film of us. Like in the 48 hours before his interview.

can't disagree. I like Rosario and he could do better in an open O, but he's not the inline blocker King is. Barnidge isn't even remotely consistent. Being around Gates for a few years I'm sure has given him the want to have that type guy.

Only thing disappointing is that the OC issue doesn't seem as resolved as I hoped.

I am happy with Rivera. I am not sure he is an upgrade on Fox but I prefer him to the other three guys we talked with. I hope he finds a good OC

Honeslty, defensively, he's the guy you would want.

Loved the interview (its was like night and day listening to Jerry then Ron)
It was pretty damn honest too. Loved the Jim Johnson stuff.

But the OC hire is probably gonna be the one that makes us.

So is Wandstat goona be DC?

being interviewed by a 2-14 team he would want to know if he had a chance. seemed sincere in saying he thought we had a lot of good players, need some important pieces on both sides of the ball.
