    ESPN's draft rankings have Gabbert with a 96 rating overall, the best QB available and the sixth-best player overall. The 5 other players are all tied with 97's. FWIW Clausen was rated as an 89 last year.

    its not mel kiper's big board, it's their "draft coverage". I guess it's a composite of whomever they have doing draft stuff. Scouts, inc or something.

    INteresting. Gabbert chose CAA, owned by Condon.

    Gary Wichard is Clausen's agent, Kiper is friends with Wichard and has been accused of hyping draft choices ( including Clausen ) as a favor.
