    Please don't rip me for llooking for the positives

    What would the SD fans have done back in 98 I think if Leaf had another year and he announced his return to school?

    If there is a breakthrough of any kind on the CBA in the next week, he could change his mind.

    If Stanford hires a coach he doesn't like.

    Forgetting Luck:

    He may not be the best QB in the draft. Time will tell. I wonder if we go after Gabbert now? Newton?

    If we don't like Newton and he has a great combine, which he should, there will be a QB starved team who falls in love and makes us an offer.

    We will drop in the top 10, get the player we would have picked, plus, after the Luckless draft discount, would pick up a second rounder this season and possibly a first or second next season.
