I would agree with you to a point. Lafell is promising and Gettis was a pleasant surprise as a 6th rounder but still we have nobody else. Smith is nearing the end and you can't expect anything out of Edwards. So while Lafell and Gettis give you hope I think there is room for improvement assuming you get someone with a high ceiling like an AJ Green or Julio Jones. They aren't necessarily #1 overall material but would be an upgrade in my opinion.

 

Trade it to New England. THey have 73 picks and don't need but 3-5. We want the pick they got from Oakland (mid first), our AE pick back (Hurney you idiot--33 overall) and their second. rounder. They would have the first and last pick in the first round.

Is that a bargain? Yes--for New England. The #1 spot is not worth 3000 points, but I guess it is worth 2600 or less. The picks I mention are worth 1900. Maybe they can throw in Light to backup the OL. To get three players in the first two rounds, I would trade.

Maybe Jerry can call another press conference just before the free agency period kicks off and tell everyone that he is e moving the team to old NC speedway in Rockingham and Gibbs will be the next coach in the Nascar offseason.

Well this sucks. This has been one of the worst weeks in franchise history. We fire the only decent coach we have ever had. The owners does a press conference and looks like an idiot. The hottest coaching candidate is not even on our radar. And lock out looks likely.

If Clausen is our starter going into next year then it will not be worth watching. Get sunday ticket and follow whoever you liked before 1995.
