So, what do you think about Stanford now?

 

I think they're probably about where they deserved to be, as far as ranking. I was REALLY impressed with Luck. If Oregon beats Auburn, I'd move them into 3rd in the final standings behind Oregon and TCU.

 

I hope Arkansas beats OSU tonight. The big 10 really was overrated and I think Arkansas will prove it again tonight.

 

Even Tyrod's parents couldn't watch the beat down, so they just slept.

I am alum of the both the Big Ten and the SEC and now live in ACC country (NC).

However the Big Ten ended up 3-5 in the bowl season and actualy were ahead of ecpectations. They were underdogs in 7 of the 8 games so they should of lost more than they won. The bowl season is not a good indication of conference strength because it is all about match-ups.

The Big Ten puts 2 teams in the BCS more so than any conference so when that happens all of the match-ups slide up one spot which in most years makes for unfavorabale match-ups. Now you can argue that the the Big Ten does not deserve 8 bowl tie ins or 2 BCS births but the conference is greedy, and more improtantly they travel well and have large alum basis.

The Mountain West is stronger than many give them credit for. Too bad Utah is going to the PAc-10, BYU is going independant and TCU is going to the Big East. If not they would because with the addition of Boise State they would be stronger than the Big East.
