Volek? I heard he was available, and I'd like him.

Newton just isn't in the same league. Keep this in mind - Luck could be the guy because he's just so amazing. Is Newton that amazing? He has good stats, but he's not that guy. So for "not amazing", Hurney's mortgaging his entire future and he gets competition for a guy he already loves, that we could easily continue to groom.

I mean, I get it with Luck, because he could be legendary. Might only be Carson Palmer good, who the fuck knows. But you're not required to take a QB #1 overall, if Luck isn't there there's no #1 overall level QB.

is it collusion to make sure that Harbaugh and Luck is a package deal? I think I'm resigned to the idea that's the only great way out of this mess we're in.

I guess Harbaugh going out would all but guarantee that, but I would want some level of guarantee. I'll be honest, I fought it at first, but having been a Harbaugh guy for A FUCKING YEAR OR SO and seeing the idea of Luck, versus Newton or Clausen, and Christ I don't know why I wasn't on board with this earlier.

Smith loves whoever gets him the ball, this isn't anything new.

If Luck is there you have to take him. That said, there are no assurances he's coming out this year especially if Harbaugh stays at Stanford. Fairley from Auburn is a good alternative but not with the first pick of the draft but I'm not sure anyone deals up with the Panthers since no one else has Luck's possibilities.

I want a black quarterback, with the over-developed thighs, and remarkable hips. You see, the black man was groomed........
