There are articles now about giving him more time. The typical media calling for the next sensation.

But in light of what we've seen...would you?

With so many talking about Luck now, would you want to see what we have in Edwards?

I mean- let's be real. Even if Edwards is the guy, we'll never find out in three games, especially when he's been practicing all year for receiver. But is it the time to give him a look see, or not.

Right now, it's basically an extended pre-season. I'd take a look at everybody. I don't know if I'd start Edwards at QB, but its time to get him on the field in some capacity.

Might as well start him at QB, that's the position he played in college and was good at. He can't do any worse than anybody else has so far. Just sayin.

his 1 play, he looked completely out of place. he deserves no playing time. what a wasted pick. i could complete a no gain pass.

panthers never intended for him to play QB, never going to be an NFL QB... Hurney is a fucking idiot

They can tell Fox to play him, but I'm sure he wouldn't as long as he's the HC...

It would also be unfair to the rest of the team

I wish you Edwards people would just shut the fuck up about it

I don't think he has a prayer of being an NFL QB. But at this point, why not put him out there. We are train-wreck type of spectacle as it is....may as well make it interesting to see.

He's earned a jersey the last few games over Clowney. It's a start, but there are guys who play ahead of him rightly.

Can we use the next couple of games to see if he can actually play the position we've said all along that we want him to play? It's awesome that he played quarterback in college, but we drafted him as a wide receiver, so let's see what he can do there.

I don't feel like it matters really, he has no QB to work with and all that really matters is what the next regime thinks of him.

I suppose there would be benefit to him getting a taste of live game speed, so sure, let him run around a little bit, might help in his development.

How about we let Edwards earn his spot instead of giving it to him?
