Alan Major Era Starts Off Strong

Just sent you a PM. Apparently she only did that for the last game, which I was not at.

 

What's the deal with Spears? Is Major done with him for good, or was this just another bump in the road?

 

No idea. Evidently he was being a pain in the ass and basically wishing for the old regime. He also was tweeting stuff and being a me first guy. Spears is good and many consider him our best player, but he's not that good. Coach finally had enough and put his foot down. Spears is suspended indefinitely but who knows what that means. Evidently the team played better this past weekend and played like a team sans Spears. Of course that was against Radford. I hope Spears and coach can work it out but only if Spears has an attitude adjustment. There's a new man in charge at Charlotte and Spears just has to accept that.

 

I was at the Radford game, and I thought they looked good, but they only had 9 players. That kind of depth is giong to catch up to them in a hurry. I know Dewhurst was supposed to lay but he's hurt and Spears was out, but do they really only have 11 players?

 

Yeah, Dew is out, Spears indefinitely, and I think KJ? Oh yea, Sirin hasn't been cleared by the damn NCAA yet either. So an already thin team is even thinner. That'll hurt in the A10 as it would anywhere with teams like UR, Temple, and X playing well. This year is going to be tough for the Niners and Spears acting like a douche isn't helping matters. At least they looked like team against Radford. Next up is ECU which the Niners have already beaten this season, like a week or two ago. This time will be without Spears so who knows what'll happen. Evidently we are ECU's superbowl, at least at home this season. Imagine that.

 

Evidently Major isn't talking to the media about Spears. Here's a pretty good write up on how things have gone so far.

First it was Lutz and now Judy. What would it take for you to actually like the program? A total gutting of the Athletic Dept?

As far as last night, blah, we've lost at ECU before. Yeah, it sucks.

Not sure where you've been but I've been calling for her head longer than I was Lutz. I mostly made fun of Lutz. It was not his fault he was here. Judy is the moron who kept extending his contract year after year.

Lutz drove this program into the ground but Judy gave him the keys to the bus.
