    Anyone here ever get knotted muscles in your neck or back? Anyone know a way to get them to relax?

    I've dealt with that off/on for a couple of years.

    First of all, know what triggers it and change your habits.

    Secondly- exercise the area regularly. If you hurt too much to exercise it, get some therapy.

    Last of all- Heat helps. Hot showers or patches have done wonders for mine.

    Over time, it's gotten better, but it has taken almost a year. It's a slow process and I've gotten better at knowing what triggers mine. When I can't do anything about what triggers it, I take extra care to stretch and use heat before it gets very painful.

    Push Ups, jiu jitsu training, and marijuana. Will cure it everytime.

    Except when it doesn't.
