LOL. How's your team doing, bigshot?

Twice in the past 6 years, UNC has won one fewer games in 1 touney than UNCC has in its entire history. But, sure, run that mouth a little more and we'll see how things work out at the end of the year.

The Heels will be a very dangerous, but inconsistent, team. That's kinda what happens when you are this young.

 

Lol. VP, you're not usually one to get so worked up over something so silly.

Heels are young and evidently have the best freshman ever so the team will be just fine. It's still early. Should tell you something that that freshman still wanted to go to Chapel Hill even after last years season. Other programs don't have that luxury.

As for the Niners, yeah, we suck monkey balls but comparing the two is kinda silly as well given history, resources, etc.

 

Barnes should certainly be the piece of the puzzle that gets UNC over the hump and taking the NIT championship.

 

It was more the person running his mouth than anything. I get tired of folks who add no value and all they do is throw stones.

And I'm not really trying to compare the 2 programs, because there really is not a comparison there - that is what I was trying to point out with the tourney wins stat. As I have said on here numerous times, I would love for UNCC to do well. I have very close ties to the university. I just get tired of the constant inferiority complex, but fortunately (or unfortuneately if I am bored, lol) most of the most delusional posters have left.

In reality though, I am a bit concerned about how the heels will do this year only because Roy was so awful last year. I put the entire season squarely on his shoulders. There was no reason that the Heels should not have been a 5 or 6 seed at the worst.

 

Could be another long season. A loss to Vandy too?

I did not realize you cannot take a little joking about your team. I have a lot of friends that are chapel hill grads and we always joke back and forth. I've even been to a lot of chapel hill games with them. It's the fans that never went to school there that usually get their panties in a wad when someone makes a unc-chapel hill joke.

Once again, I apologize. For some reason, I thought you had gone to school there. I will try to do better next time.

But you obviously were great at taking "a joke" about UNCC.

 

He's right you know. Just look at all the ones on TBR that get so mad when we poke fun at Chapel Hill. It's the ones that never even went there. Then, take a loot at you and BigV and I think PPaul. You guys take it and dish it back without getting all pissy. Please take that as a compliment.

As far as Charlotte, the whole team is a "joke" right now. We only laugh to heal the pain.

 

Roy has work to do once again to avoid the NIT. Heels have some of the same players from last year making the same mistakes. Poor offensive movement, forced passes, bad shooting, and turnover after turnover. UNC couldn't put Asheville away tonight at home. Zeller is playing good, and Barnes will be fine eventually, but the rest need to step it up.

 

Actually Henson and Knox have played good during this stretch as well. The PG and SG spots are the main problems, they need to play better period. I would like to see Marshall get more time over Drew, Marshall just seems to have a lot better court vision and pushes the ball forward a lot faster via the pass.
