Seems to me the basketball season starts a little to early. We have already seen Wake lose to VCU, and GA Tech get crushed by Kennesaw St. VA Tech gets a pass since they lost to the 3rd ranked team. To a lessor extent, my Niners lost to freaking Gardner Webb which at least gives us something in common with Kentucky. What do you guys think? Should the season start after Turkey day to allow for more practice time or is it just gravy the way it is now?

It seems that the November non-conference games get quickly forgotten when January rolls around.

I agree. It's more a problem for non Big 6 Conference teams that don't have league schedules to fall back on. The RPI hits can be pretty bad.

I have to agree with over rated. Barnes goes for squat.
