Athletes caught in squeeze

 

The recruiting class is now starting to fall apart. One of the 4* kids decided to go to Marshall due to grades (I seriously can't remember the last time that happened so maybe they are finally starting to 'get it' in Chapel Hill - no way he is dumber than Dwight Jones). Then, Gholson decommits and goes to Notre Dame. Rumors are that a LOT of the remaining kids are looking around.

Thinking towards next year, if Williams decommits, that will leave the Holes with just Renner/Hansen at QB. Better hope they are durable.

 

Williams is heading to VT, neither of the two guys that originally committed wanted to sit three years. Blue will probably be the #3 QB unless the Heels can pick up somebody late. The NCAA needs to wrap up this investigation. If you're gonna put sanctions on the program then do it already, but don't drag the thing on forever.
