I want to take a trip next fall to see a BIG Time football game. I have seen Southern Cal at Notre Dame game but want to see a great game in an exciting venue. I have heard any Saturday night game at LSU is must see. What would be your suggestions for game experience both in the stands and out tailgating

Ohio State, Michigan, LSU and others would all be good.

But I really want to get to a game at both UT's...Austin and Knoxville.

Austin is freaking awesome...girls, BBQ, tex-mex, live music.

Knoxville...110000 idiots in orange, tailgating on a boat.

    Memory?

Looks like you've already been to both Austin and Knoxville!

6th street, Oasis, Salt Lick - and beautiful people. Keep Austin Weird!

    Knoxville - :barf2:

I've been to Knoxville. It's a bunch of fat inbreed rednecks wearing orange. I've been to a game in Athens, GA. The Bulldogs put on a good show. I've been to Klempson (see Knoxville). I would like to see a game at Ohio State or at Happy Valley PA. I don't know if I would like a game in Baton Rouge, the thought of 90,000 drunk cajuns just don't sound like fun. NC State actually has a very good envionment now for college football. It's not on the level of Alabama or LSU but the fans are into it. I love UNC but they have too many Buffy and Biffs.

Easy. Columbia is 1.5 hours away. There'll be 82,000+ there. Get there early. 3 hours before kickoff if you can. Tailgating blows away any other school in the area. And plenty of hot women to ogle.

Don't know about the tailgating, but I'll throw the annual Army vs. Navy game out there for consideration.

That is my favorite game every year. I would love to see it live.
