Are we still talking about the football team or that incident between Roy and the Presbyterian?

Based on what I see so far, I really can't see how the university could have prevented this. I am not talking about any of the academic stuff as I have not seen much on that.

Well, except that admission of guilt thing...

"Baddour said the program should’ve done more to monitor its high-profile players.

“We should’ve been doing something else,” Baddour said. “We should’ve acknowledged the level that these guys are and that there were going to be people coming at them. … I wish we had done more. I’d like to relive that part.”

That was all PR. What more could the university have really done? If someone wants to take some free stuff and it is not easily noticable. it's going to be kind of tough to blame the university, don't you think?

I agree. Apparently, the NCAA expects the institution to control the little stuff, too. Unless you start chopping the hands off the givers and takers, I don't know how you get the point across not to participate in scandalous activities.

by chopping the hands off a high profile university with a small profile football program?

this way the ncaa gets to show the nation that they're dead serious about violations and nobody has to forfeit any national titles.

seize the moment, that's what i always say!

BAD UNC! BAD BAD BAD UNC!

Of course, the NCAA needs a dumbass inside the program, like Marvin Austin, to tweet about his escapades, so they'll know which programs to look into and investigate.:drunk:
