I wasnt there so I'm not sure, but it sure as hell wouldn't surprise me... People are fed up with whats on the field and the calls by the fron office... That being said the Panthers are still my team and will be until the day I die!!!!

Honestly I think its time for us to rebuild a new team, every team has to do it every once in a while just so happens the 2010 season is the year the Panthers HAD to do it... I still think JR is still one of the best owners in the NFL, even if we go winless... Hopefully within a year or two we will be contenders again...

Peppers said that if it were foxy's decision, pep would still be in carolina. I wonder how many would still be here? I wonder if that's why he was virtually in tears about Jake?

    We could have paid Peppers.

Then, next season, the same folks would be crying about Kalil, Deangelo and others "getting away."

Peppers is special, but the idea of paying him as much as he demanded was not in our budget. And, I hope and pray that I am right on this: JR is plotting out 2011. Sucks for 2010, but it's how the chips fell.

Plus, there's 11 games left to figure something out. But, a midget #1 receiver who's always getting hurt, coupled with a crop of average rookies, and limited usage of the TE's (notably Barnidge, who is GROSSLY underutilized), and no fucking clue what to do at QB doesn't really equate to success.

I just regret that they pulled Moore so early. And I supported it, brashly, at the time. But that was a bad call, and probably one made by somebody not named John Fox.

Maybe while they are considering rooks, Pike needs to have a look for a game or two, shit, since it's a throw away year anyway. Fuk, it wouldn't surprise me if JR and co don't give a fuck whether we win or not and consider a bad record a good thing this year for good draft picks next year. Hey, didn't we give up our second next year to NE? If so, dang, not only do they have two per round next year 1-4, two in the first plus a 33 or 34 next year is particularly gravy for them. That's almost 10% picks through the 33-34 (depending upon our finish) for them. Whew, shrewd folks they are. But they better have some cash saved if the cap is in play.

Honestly I can't see this team being much better if they had kept Peppers and all the other guys they purged this past off season. The team we have right now looks a lot like the team we had last year prior to Matt Moore starting and playing well. We needed to find a solid QB to replace Jake and we failed. That is why we suck. Having Hoover, Vincent and Moose back on the offense would not have helped much.

Otah going down, and laying an egg in the second half in week one was all it took to take a young team's confidence level down--just enough to make coaches and/or owners make irrational quarterback moves 2 weeks into a 16-week schedule.

Peppers--all he would be doing for us now is getting us a few more sacks, a couple "splash" plays, but for what? A subsequent Jason Baker punt? Another fumbled snap by DillPickleRetardFaceTackyNumberFuck?
