Yep. And it's been a problem since the Giants game. The experienced players, making bad plays at crucial times.

I don't sense any quit with the team, and I think Fox's demeanor and approach (all jokes aside) is the exact same as it was in September 2002. The team is just making so many mental errors right now, it's unreal. And yesterday's game was actually rock solid, for what we have, until the final 60 seconds.

100% agreed on the FG. Even at 60 yards, send Lloyd out there and let him knock the shit out of one. But don't end the game throwing not only short of the end zone, but short of the fucking sticks. Hell, send those motherfuckers all down in one bunch on the right and go Hail Mary.

You're right dude. The staff, the players--everyone looked lost. That's where you would hope a guy like Gross--the team's Grandpa--would help Jimmy direct traffic at the end. Instead, he's just standing around looking worthless, per usual.

With all that said, we're inching closer to respectability. With that, a few will with come. After that, you'd hope to graduate to "good."

"Son, this is a map of Charlotte, North Carolina. In about 10-12 years, get to know the city. And if you hit Tyvola off I-77, please grab me some ribs from Sonny's. Ohh, and one of those jumbo iced teas, too. K. Thx."

I am not sure we could have gotten the field goal off. We were out of timeouts and you would be asking the kicker to run out and kick it cold and in a rush. The inevitable false start would have made it 66 yards....

Scobee nailed that 59 yarder for the Jags with room to spare though. It looked like it would have been good from 61 maybe 62 yards.

Those 2 mins were a clusterfuck, college teams dont run them that badly.

Does Fox last the year cause I dont know when were gonna win our first game.

I know they were the Saints but they were beat up badly and we still choked.

It all feels a tad stale out there, is new blood inevitable in 11.

And who the fuck OK,d the Armanti trade? what a friggen waste.

I like the fat Fox better. I think it all turned downhill when he lost weight.

I disagree with this a fucking bunch. Fox stated they were in 4 minute, which is burn time, and it was working. They were essentially in FG range and had a minute left. Three passes that don't work and a good FG, they have time.

That Deangelo chose wrong, that hurts. So they have to change up philosophy completely. But the idea that they were trying to be in 2 min and just sucked at it, that's incorrect.

Also, re: Armanti, we have a future player there, hopefully. But whether we win 10 games or two, doesn't really make the trade great or terrible, and truthfully there's nothing that can be done about it either way.

vets in 04 did the same thing on defense. Trying to cover each other's asses. It's possibly why there are miscues on the OL. Young guys just try to make their assignment, older guys are trying to do too much and fucking it up. It's weird that we have better safety play than corner play.

maybe the FG is worth it. Dunno.

I don't know why Rhys hasn't ever tried FGs, I've heard he's allright at 50+.

If we win two games, obviously the pick is a lot more valuable than if we win ten. But I agree, no way to judge it fairly right now.
