Panthers at Saints Gameday Running Commentary 10/3/10

Well...how absolutely heartbreaking and fucking typical. I was watching via NFL.com on my phone, because I had to attend a function today...yep, I was that guy, in the audience, pretending to pay attention to the important people up there, while watching the game on my phone, and when it came time to speak, I made it brief so I could sit back down and catch the game.

Looks like we just fell apart at the end. Dare I say...typical. Just typical. Whatever. It's just reps at this point. Right now, we're a league joke. In for the long haul. Looked like it could've been good though...Clausen appears to have had a good game.

Any in depth analysis of this game would be great...

For them to have such a bad run D, and have passed it almost 60 times, and won? Something is perilously wrong with this team, man. I can't wait for a change. It can't come fast enough.

The Panthers made my day on the first play when they gained yards on a screen. I don't ask for much, a screen pass is like a gift from the Panthers.

 

From top to bottom the entire organization sucks. At least jimmy has being a rook in his 2nd start as an excuse . . . what are all the others excuse?

 

I had to work too. Gannt says Jarrett dropped the 4th down pass. What kind of drop was it. Off fingertips, behind him, or hammered when he touched it? Or bounced off his hands - routine?

We were in the game. Big improvement. Play calling on last set of downs of course was bad. They acted like were were on the 10. We needed 5 - 10 yards for Kasay to make it a high probability kick. But, what do you expect from our staff?

 

Still though, we shoulda won that fucking game. That was just lousy coaching and playcalling that last drive.

 

I'm hearing lousy playcalling, which doesn't surprise me in the least. I mean, Davidson is a pile of shit, but why this time? What happened?

Jarrett had a chance at the end? Oh man. I mean...oh man. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't see this game.

 

Well, if he woulda caught it, we would have still lost unless he had managed to get a couple of yards after the catch because he didn't have enough for the 1st down, which there was no way, plus he would have had to get out of bounds or we would have run out of time. We just fucked ourselves on that 2nd down run.

 

Even if Jarrett had caught it time would have ran out before we could have gotten FG unit on the field. They fucked away about 20 damn seconds with their thumbs up their motherfucking asses.
