    No.

We get an offensive minded coach in here, or hire a real fucking OC that innovates. And you beg Smith not to fucking walk away from this fucking joke the offense has become.

I have said many times I didn't want to lose Smitty, I'd like for him to retire right here in Charlotte. But understanding it is a business, he's worth a whole lot more now, then say 2 years from now.

Everyone agrees an offense minded coach would be nice,,,,,, afterall look at who's winning in the NFL, those teams are throwing the ball around alot.

ya, but it is also more than just x and o playcalling. we've done a fairly horrid job on picking players for the offense, and to be fair to a less noteworthy extent on defense as well. draft and free agents. it's not all the system, since those that have finally been jettisoned have gone on to stellar careers of nothing with other teams. so i think our evaluations have been faulty as well.

Gettis is learning and I have hopes he'll grow into a real threat. LaFell might be good as well if he can just catch without the theatrics. Claussen will learn and hopefully not be ruined by starting for a bad team his rookie season.

I honestly had very low expectations for this year (I wasn't completely kidding when I said 0-16) so I'm concentrating more on seeing new guys take steps forward and being happy with that. And it's always nice to see Smitty stiff arm someone into the ground. I still am not in love with our oline.

And it was nice to not be so damned hot.

There aren't any "sparks" left to get. None. I'm not ready to call it 2001 yet, but it's getting there quick.

Seriously, did any of the rest of you think it would be this bad?
