How is that a reflection on DJ? Crittenton doesn't even belong in the league.

If they had no faith in DJ they might bring in someone who can play. Javaris likely won't even make our team despite our dearth of PGs.

    training camp fodder.

the other day I was checking out some videos of Livingston on youtube, etc. No, I didn't watch the bad one of his injury but the other ones after his comeback. dude has some unique skills. hes 6-7 but has like a 7 ft wingspan. hes dunking without lifting off the ground. he can get the ball in the post easy because he looks right over the other pg's. if his knee can hold up he should be an interesting player, especially under LB.

    hoping

Yeah he's got a decent post game too. I was really disappointed Shaun didn't come to Duke and have only seen him play a handful of times, but it was clear he's got great basketball instincts. The type of stuff you can't coach.

Seems like they are grasping at straws for a point guard to me.

Now that is a sign of a lack of trust in DJ. And a huge upgrade at PG, would make our starting five pretty well set. As well as leave us some pieces on the bench, although backup PF becomes a huge hole again.

That would suck. I hope we keep DJ. If they want Melo bad enough they should pull the trigger regardless, don't cave MJ!

Devin Harris is a huge step up from say, Jose Calderon. I really hope this trade goes through.

    PG Devin Harris
    SG Stephen Jackson
    SF Gerald Wallace
    PF Tyrus Thomas
    C Nazr

With DJ/Shaun Livingston/Henderson/Diop off the bench.

If Najara and Carroll can fill in at backup PF/SG we've got a pretty solid lineup, except at center obviously.

With the addition of Sharron Collins perhaps even DJ is expendable if they have faith in Livingston's knee. I'd prefer to keep DJ though in case he turns it around.
