The braves season is basically over but hey it was still a great season. It would have been nice to send Bobby out with a title but the talent just isn't there. No clutch hitting down the stretch has killed them.

When the Braves send up a guy named Beachy and that kid Minor up against two of the Phillies best rotation then you`re really hoping for a miracle. It didn`t happen.

I don't see how the season is over. They still lead the wild card race and should win it. The Phillies are in a diffenrent class right now but Atlanta still has a great shot at the post season.

Look at San Diego's schedule and look at Atlanta's. The Braves are holding onto a 1 game lead. I'm sorry I hope i'm wrong but but I believe their season is over.

Clutch hitting isn't the major problem, starting pitching would be the main issue.

Starting pitching has been a strength all season as well as the bullpen. The team is challenged a bit by not having enough power.

I don't see it that way UNCfever. The starters held a good hitting Phillies team to 3 runs and 5 runs respectfully. we had plenty of opportunities to score runs in the last 2 games but blew them.

I am talking about the last month, not just two games.

    ERA for September

    Hudson 5.33
    Hanson 2.77
    Jurrjens 6.32
    KawaKami 13.50
    Minor 9.37
    Lowe 1.35

So outside of Lowe and Hanson the starting pitching has been painful for this month.
