Teeter had/has them for $.99/lb. Walmart is $.40 more.

twenty hours? You must have run out of heat. I'll cook two at a time and it usually takes about twelve.

I really didn't build a good fire the first bit. I can see the merit to electric, after all that, but another couple reps and I'll have it down no big deal.

even with a bunch of mistakes, so tasty.

Can you make it tasty cooking it in the oven?? My gas grill has died, I don't have the funds to buy another right now, and stuff cooked with charcoal gives me heartburn. Is there a way to slow cook it and make it good in a regular old conventional oven?

That's weird, I just noticed that on my way to work the other day, and wondered if it was good.

How the hell did you see it? The place couldn`t be anymore hidden if it was in the witness protection program. I`ll probably swing by tomorrow and get some breakfast.

I haven't, but I'm sure you could cook it in a crock pot like a roast, or in an oven with a foil hat. Lowest heat possible, preferably. 225 or 200, until it gets at least 175 F, but preferably up to 190. But don't get impatient, going above 250 it becomes roasting (tightening the proteins) instead of the intent, which is to very slowly and deliberately bring it to temperature to loosen the connective tissue.

Don't skimp on the rub, either.
