    Friend down the street has it. Says it blows. Said the HD stations look like shit. Uverse's customer service makes TWC's look like the best there is. He wanted to add VOIP, but they keep telling him "soon."

    I am seriously getting a hard on for this. I rechecked into this and now instead of DSL I can get 18Mbps Internet (24Mbps for an additional $10.00), 320 channel televison and internet telephone (250 mins a month which is was more than I typically use) for $165 a month. TWC was charging me $183 (direct drafted so I didn't pay attention). When I realized this I called and bitched and got the EXACT SAME service (no pay channels on TV, 2 DVRs, Turbo Internet and unlimited phone) for $135 a month for 3 months going up to $143 after that with no termination fee. I paid that fee to get the new reduced rate but will recover that $60 in ~5 weeks. I am turning back in 1 DVR which I never used saving ~20 dollars.

    Has anyone had U-Verse long enough to know how much I can expect it to go up after the initial lower prices expire?

    I get EVERY pay channel (hbo, showtime, cinemax, tlc, ifc, etc....), 12mbps, unlimited phone for $155 on 3 tv's.....

    goes in tomorrow. I can see the vrad from my backdoor.
