Well the cap situation is the main difference that we aren't, then how our market is viewed compared to the others. Anything we do is going to require a trade or dumping some players first(which I am not sure where we are on that one).

I know there are reasons why the Bobcats are not in a position to pursue any big time free agents. It is just frustrating that they have never landed a free agent who was highly regarded.

I do feel better about the team now that Jordan owns it. He is too competitive to accept having a team that can not compete for a championship. Johnson seemed to be all about the money and business side of the team.

If/when Miami trades Micheal Beasley (either to Toronto to get Bosh) they will have the cap room to sign 3 max contracts (Wade, LaBron, and Bosh) and the have just under 12k to fill out their roster with 4 draft picks and minimum contracts. You can go over the cap with no penalty by signing players to minimum contracts.

Rumor has Ray Allen going to Miami at a vet minimum

How about this for a rumor. LaBrons visit to NJ went VERY well. NJ is also talking to New Orleans about a supposedly unhappy Chris Paul who wants to be traded. New Orleans GM is a candidate for NJ's GM gig. The rumor has the Hornets trading Paul to NJ for Derrick Favors and Devin Harris. Then LaBron and Chris Bosh come on board.

One done, Johnson close to resigning with Atlanta. I guess egos can't co-exist or in Johnson's case his post season meltdown killed his value somewhat

Cleveland looking for a way to get LaBron back. Chris Paul and LaBron are giid buds so Cleveland trades Delonte West's non-guaranteed contract could be dealt (a rumored trade chip), along with Mo Williams and Anderson Varejao for Paul and Emeka Okafor.

All rumors from Insider but Chris Paul and LaBron would be sick

3 team trade could happen soon

As we noted on Friday, with only $7 million in cap space, it doesn't appear like the Wolves have the space to sign David Lee.

But he met with them on Saturday, and his agent told the Associated Press that Lee "had a great visit."

Yet, in that update on Friday, we also noted some commentary from ESPN's Chris Sheridan that Lee could land in Minny if the team trades Al Jefferson -- something they've been trying to do in recent weeks.

And via the New York Post, here's a rumored trade that could get it done: "There's been rumors of a three-way trade talk between Golden State, Minnesota and the Knicks where Lee winds up with the Timberwolves, Monta Ellis comes to the Knicks and Al Jefferson goes to Golden State. Lee visited Minnesota [Saturday] and it has only $7 million in cap room, meaning he'd want a sign-and-trade."

D-Wade and Bosh to sign with Miami. LaBron to announce tomorrow on ESPN. With Shaqs contract off the books maybe someone like Ray Allen will follow James somewhere. Clevelands lack of shooters kills the Cavs chances every year
