Its a game that one would like to forget, if you're for Boston. But if you're a Lakers' fan, you'll remember the clutch shots, the offensive rebounding, and the key hustle plays that brought you back.

But Im thinking about all of the allegations Tim Donaghy made and seeing that the NBA is more referee controlled than ever. David Stern wants to deny it, but its so evident alot of basketball is so rigged.

Yeah I was reading that blog that Bill Simmons linked about the guy going into Donaghy's book and detailing all his lies and what really happened. One of the games was between the Bobcats and Timberwolves and it just turned my stomach thinking about our fans suffering through that bullshit and getting upset. And why? Because a fucking ref fixed the game.

    The NBA doesn't care.

I remember when it occured to me about 10 years ago that I had absolutely no idea what constituted a foul in the NBA, and now I know why.

Good on you for being a Laker fan and actually stating something like that. Lakers made some huge shots and you should be excited to be a fan.

But some of this stuff makes me wonder if I even want to bother anymore. The NBA sure hasn't done anything to win my confidence back, and nor do I think that Donaghy was a 'lone wolf' like Stern likes to talk about. I think Stern's just upset Donaghy got caught and glad that Donaghy doesn't have anything on him.

The year that Jordan came back from retirement and the Bulls knocked the Hornets out of the playoffs is the year it became clear to me that it was fixed. Jordan hacked the crap out of Hersey Hawkins late in the final game of that series and it was not called. It would have won the game for the Hornets if it had been called.

I have no ill will towards MJ but the refs did favor him back in the day. They favor the superstars the same way today.

That's nothing new, certain players/teams get the calls.

Yep, in the NBA as well as college. Been that way for years and years and years.
