    As usual, NCAA sanctions have no impact on those that actually caused the sanctions.

    I heard someone talking about the situation yesterday (ESPN News maybe?) and they were saying that Reggie Bush could wind up losing his Heisman Trophy over this.

    I think he should keep it. The Heisman is based upon the performance of the athlete. Even though he had shady recruitment, you can't penalize him for his play on the field.

    Why not? He wasn't eligible to play. He was a professional football player playing in an amateur league.

    What a ass munch that Pete Carroll is ? He made some utterly ridiculous comments yesterday about the punishment being too harsh for the Trojans. He was of course the coach during this time and left because he knew the penalty was going to be harsh. The guy looks a little like Bill Clinton and apparently believes himself when he lies, much like our former president.
