I pulled for the Reds no matter who they are playing. So yesterday's game REALLY sucked.

    AGREED!

It might not last long but the Braves are in 1st place. Pretty good for a team that had an 9 game losing streak in April. 20-8 in May is some good stuff so at least for a day, the Braves are atop the NL East.

I must say that I mentioned numerous times on this thread that Glaus could turn out to be the steal of the off season. He sure was great in May.

He's been a better pickup than I thought he would be. He doesn't get cheated on a swing I'll say that. I like seeing Glaus and Hinske in the lineup together too. 11 game roadtrip coming up so we'll see if the Braves can keep it going.

the rookie took a beating tonight. 5 strikeouts, only the 3rd player to strikeout 5 times in a 9 inning game vs. the Dodgers - Mike Cameron (2007)
    Bob Sadowski (1964)

glad the Dodgers got that one, pretty sure the other 2 the Braves will take.

Tough loss to the Twins, Liriano was bringing it. Hard loss for Hudson, Braves still struggle sometimes at the plate but again Liriano was close to unhittable Friday night.
