Lost - The Final Season

I think its actually already been reported.

 

I knew the part about her coming back for filming had been but has it been reported somewhere that she is his wife in the alternate universe?

If so, cool.

 

that was my guess from the first mention of his wife. since they seem to be populating the sideways world with so many of the lostees, she's like one of the few main characters who's gone unseen there.

makes me think sawyer and she will have their connection moment -- perhaps as sawyer is chasing down the escapees or something. i'm kinda curious, tho, where this whole thing is going in sideways world.


it's interested, jacob said last week that everybody was flawed when he selected them to come to the island, but doesn't the sideways world kinda imply otherwise? for the most part, people seem pretty happy. isn't that reality supposed to be the reality where the island/jacob were destroyed?

 

either in sideways world she gets killed because of one of sawyers decisions

or they end up meeting and hooking up and living happily because of jack

 

Okay... I understand now. The thing they did where Juliet died worked. Now Desmond is gonna have to merge all the worlds.

 

Okay so alternate world is heaven?

 

I think alternate world is more like purgatory. They had to wait to be reunited in the alternate world in order to pass on into heaven (or whatever the next step - the bright light - was).

 

No mention of Walt/Michael or any of the tailies

 

I'm gonna agree. After thinking about it, I decided the island was real. Desmond was able to see his life after death. For example Kate, Sawyer, Miles, Claire and Lupidis survived and left the island. Hurley and Ben lived for years keeping up the island. The all came back together in purgetory on their way to heaven. That's the reason some people "we're ready yet"

 

Biggest problem with Walt was he aged too much and the writers couldn't figure out how to incorporate that into the story.
