IF anyone CATCHES their throws. If Tom Brady had only Pinkston & Thrash to throw to like McNabb did all those years, NE would never win a SB if they even MADE it to one.

improving on Jarrett/Rosario isn't being a "weapon in the passing game"

I think ST and QB upgrades will keep us at least 8-8 even with the WR and DL uncertainty.

how much did we upgrade either of those areas? or is it more a case of perspective, and as thelt put out earlier, “the bar being set low” with qb and st?

we added a few guys to special teams, but they are being coached by the assistant to the clown that was previously here and lead us to one of the consistently worst units in nearly every stat in the nfl.

qb play can be no more horrible than it was last year. even if moore goes out and throws interceptions and incompletes every attempt. it won't matter, mostly because at least half the public expect him to fail.

    i'm a little more optimistic.

moore will be better than decent, and if not, we have clausen to step in. i see no reason to be pessimistic about QB play. moore did it for more than one game or even just a couple of games last year and i think is plenty of reason for optimism.

wrs will be better. smitty will be a little less selfish and be more or a leader and still have another awesome year. expect we will see better coached players that are not making so many poor decisions and that will go after the ball. think we will see a much improved Jarrett. the kid knows he's got the opportunity and has got to step up or could get washed outa the league. he's got some serious talent that i think we will see this year. also, expect to see a continued improvement and production outa our tight-ends.

stewart will be healthy and our running game will be awesome.

vincent was the weak link on our Ol last year, so am expecting much better pass protection.

we won't begin the year with Pepper's sorry ass attitude and being a big hole in our defense. nor will we begin the season with a shell-shocked QB.

i'm not as worried about our DT play as much as others. we did okay toward the second half of the season. hoping Marshall isn't an attitude problem this year as i think we need him.

safety play should be vastly improved.

still have one of the best coaches in the game. meeks is in his second year so we should the D get off to a much better start.

and at this point, i wanna believe edwards is going to be an all-world, all-everything offensive weapon.

my biggest concern at this point is the FB position. very much unknown and unproven but we took the best FB coming out in each of the last two years so there's reason for optimism.

have to think that STs will be greatly improved. we now have some players that can return the ball and we have added some very good experienced special team players. it's been a point of emphasis in the offseason so very optimistic that we will see a big improvement in this area.

beason is now the leader and there's not way he's going to let his team lose.

this team is young, fast and hungry to prove itself.

    i'll say 12-4.
