I've always thought Five Guys was for people who don't really like burgers.

I mean, it's alright. But they tend a little dry, a little thin and a little expensive.

If I am going to buy a burger for over $5 I'll take the Triple Prime burger at Ruby Tuesday's. It's thick, juicy as shit and they will cook it to medium/medium-rare bloody.

The Triple Prime burger is good, but it's not $10 good.

    I can tell you've never had a Triple-Prime cheeseburger.

And I can tell you don't like good juicy burgers by you liking 5 Guys.

If you liked burgers the way they were in the 80's and previous (my dad concurs) before all the places had to cook the shit out of frozen patties then you should try one.

And no, they aren't $10 good but no burger at a chain restaurant/fast food place is. As it is, it's the best burger you can buy in Charlotte. Might as well pay a couple extra bucks and get something decent.

Or you can get Creative Loafing's best cardboard cutout, Five Guys.

Anyone been to BT's Burgers? It's on South Tryon past Westinghouse, down by the McDonalds going towards HWY 160.

They do a damn nice burger there. They won't cook it with red/pink in it but it's pretty juicy all the same. They also have good sweet potato fries.

I like the joint a lot, it's way better than the Five Guys across the street, and only marginally more expensive.

Agreed, they are by far the best fast food burger you can grab. Their chicken sandwiches are also really great.
