It's not about "pop." It's about writing something that is somewhat coherent as opposed to gibberish.

The fan on the heat pump to my back house blew. Some asshole wanted $800 to fix it ( main board that sends signal needs to be replaced, also ).

I put a $12 plug in fan in front of it 3 months ago - been blowing ice ever since.

....Meatpile! I guess theres assholes looking to yank a buck anyway they can. Thank God for good drinking buddys who'd rather hook us for a beer or twelve than stick us for a service charge and a brush off of the coils! Fishman

Now my main AC is dead.....

I think it's the cooling fan motor for the compressor....i hosed that bitch down, threw a plug in on top of it, and am waiting for it to cool before i fire it up and see if it blows cold air.

Anybody know a good place to call? gonna be hot until monday, hope to get it rigged or actually repaired before then.

    We needed coolant. 254.00 worth.

We use a guy named Michael who has a business called... 'Rudy Cools'. (Named after his jack russell rudy)
He's super nice and always remembers his customers. Not sure if he's cost effective as I've never used anyone else and have nothing to compare it to, although everything has been high so far in my opinion, but it could just be the market. No idea.
    I trust him though-
    Number: 704 491 0632

ps: We've had coolant twice and the compressor motor replaced on one of the units last summer. We need new units...but gonna hang on as long as we can.
