    A bit I'm sure. I don't recall that the Braves have been an especially good hitting team since he's been there (I could be wrong on that). the guys that have hit like Chipper would hit regardless of the hitting coach. It's the average guys that don't seem to get any better that point to the coach.

    It's a legitimate question. TP had no success with Adruw Jones but that's to be understood. He also struggled working with Frenchy before he was shipped to the Mets. He has been given some credit with his work with Brian Mcann but I would not be too upset to see someone bring in some new thoughts.

    Chipper is not hitting and it's a fact that he sets the pace for the Braves. Brian Jordan made some comments last week that I have been preaching for years. Chipper needs to change the way he trains. As you get older the most important thing to work on is flexibility. I like Chipper but every time he takes a swing, he pulls something. Chipper, start doing some serious stretching !!!!! I may be a fool but if he can get going the Braves can still make the post season.
