They made the playoffs but they have a long way to go to be competitive for a title. This series really pointed that out. They have Wallace and Jackson but that is about it. They need a big man and a point guard.

Yeah, I'm the biased one in this equation.

    Get real.

You could look at my post history and realize that JJ isn't one of my favorite Duke players.

Look you can boo who you want, it's a free country. I'm just saying, it makes them look really petty. And stupid, considering the guy isn't that good.

Jameer Nelson destroyed us but our crowd just sat there like a wine and cheese crowd unless JJ had the ball. It's really a lot of misguided energy.

And yes, the Roy fist pump pissed me off. That guy is a jackass.

to say that other arenas don't boo certain players is laughable. gee they would never do that type of thing in Cameron would they?

you don't thing Kobe got booed after his little deal? Rasheed Wallace always gets booed. JR Reid did too. so did Laettner, Derick Coleman...Im sure Reggie Miller heard a boo or two at the Garden.....

Bobcats fans were supporting this team. at least people showed up. the silence would start as Nelsons jumper splashed through, not before. you want the fans loud, stop the other team or give them a reason to be loud.

Felton should have taken that contract they offered him last year. He has been completely exposed that he is a backup point guard. He tries, is tough, gives max effort, and he doesnt complain, but that only goes so far. DJ Augistine is not the answer either.

Agree, this was embarrassing, for a city that always wants to be "big-league".
Booing a specific player who earns it is fine. Reddick is nothing more than a utility bench player. His only "crime" is he went to Duke, and the Tarcats hate him.
Putting that much effort into booing this guy made our crowd look like a small-town college crowd. Very embarrassing.

Cameron isn't a pro crowd and it's pretty stupid to bring them up in this discussion.

    Kobe = All Pro

In fact, every player you mentioned except for JR Reid made an All Star game. I guess it is still possible that JJ could play in an All Star game but for now he averages 17 minutes and 7 ppg in his career.

Hardly comparable to anyone you mentioned except for JR Reid. Who was booed by the home crowd because he was fat and lazy. Not the same thing by any stretch.

I never said that no other crowd boos, just that no other NBA crowd so voraciously boos such an average, marginal player. I understand why they do it, it's hardly a new thing. I just think it makes our crowd look pretty fucking petty.

You would think the guy who hustled us out of the playoffs might garner a boo. We didn't boo him when he dribbled, we didn't boo him when he shot, and you're right, we damn sure didn't boo him when he schooled Felton for four games.

Maybe we'll boo him next year. I know I will.

Agreed with most all of this. They need a center worth a damn for sure. Felton is a middle of the pack pg at best, to be a top tier team you have to have somebody better to run your offense through. It really looked as though nobody wanted to step up and take the shots for the Bobcats in the playoffs, Wallace and Jackson included.

Before we throw Jack under the bus let's remember his knee injury in game 1. He never looked the same to me after that, it really affected the lift on his jumper and his first step to the basket.

My main concern was Boris Diaw. I think Charles Barkley nailed it last night talking about guys who come to play during the last game of a sweep so they can say "Hey I played hard you can't put it on me." Diaw was shit most of the season, really disappointing.

I'd take my chances on Thomas next year and see if you can get anything for Diaw.

fair enough, I didn't think it was that big of a deal. they booed Howard. people probably didnt boo Nelson because they were too busy saying GD, shit fuck hell Felton

back to Felton, what should they do with him? offer him a low contract or look for a starter free agent? whoever may be available....agree with the Diaw comments. talk about a guy that is afraid to take a shot anymore. I would try and trade him for damn near anything at this point. he's done a 180 from when they for him

true on Jackson knee. he had a shitty series but he was hurt. and nobody can say he doesn't care, he was mad as hell at the end of the game while others were making vacation plans. I loved the tech foul he got lol
