    Kinda like leinart and brady quinn and jamarcus russell and and and......

    Clausen's the #48 pick. Cheap contract, low pressure. If he's a bust he wont take the franchise with him - no prssure on coaches to force the issue, either.

    I like the fact that we didn't settle for some mediocre DB from Pat Hill Academy or Troy. Clausen was #2 to me vs. McCoy, but again, I'm a fucking fan, and just happy we got a QB under our belt.

    Never said he was a sure thing, but he wasn't taken simply because he's the BPA either.


    All the other QBs you mentioned were taken with the assumption that they would be franchise QBs. Whether Clausen ends up being that guy or not, it isn't a good sign for Moore.
