as it stands now, McCoy rumor aside, I see no reason to trade up. More is there @48 than I expected.

Tate is my primary thought, but Benn, Williams and LaFell are there as bigger guys; McCluster is a good consolation prize in smaller guys with RS ability. I see 7 guys I'd be OK with at WR really. If we did go another spot at 48, we could still land speed at 78.

there are still 2 QBs there if we have to have one this early.

Thomas at DT would be nice. Kindle won't fall.
Mays is intriguing....he's impact. move Sherrod back to CB and let Mays roam, or hell put him at OLB. He fits us and covers 2 2011 FAs.

I wouldn't trade up, but might consider a trade up to 50 or so, directly after.

We should have a chance to land a good WR at 48 so I agree lets stay with that pick and grab one. I would like to have Tate.

I kind of like the idea of moving up to get another second round pick. We have plenty of late round picks so if we could package some of them with our third rounder and get another second rounder I would like that. A lot of guys have dropped so we could probably get good value with another second rounder.

I am not big on drafting a QB. What we need is a solid veteran to back up Moore. A rookie backup is probably not ideal unless you think Moore is not the guy.

We trade up for anyone that's doesn't enter camp as the starter, I'm going to puke

I like McCoy, no question... but honestly we got bigger needs... Tate falling in our lap would be a gift

Tate won't be around at 48 unfortunately.

maybe. bucs, ravens or patriots would all be reasonable destinations. bucs and pats have 2 picks before ours i believe.

Even if he is not we should have a couple of decent WRs to pick from.

So we're all looking for that ever elusive Golden Taint?

I don't see New England needing WR at this point, with Welker, Moss, Edelman + Torry Holt + David Patten. They may want to explore TE.

The other two teams could use one, Bucs are desperate for one.

for what it's worth, NE was just mentioned as one of the top possible destinations on NFLN due to the age of their receivers

I don't see Tate, for instance, as being valuable enough to burn future picks to go up to beat KC to him. Plus we probably don't want to lose 3 or 4 in a deep draft.

I'm fairly convinced we won't go up, and especially not for a QB. I can see them concerned of Clausen's leadership. If the right guy was there on D, that's when you see a package for Price or McCluster around 55-60 for our 3 and next yr's 2.
