    i think imma do some zucchini, and hot peppers. i had planned on water melons in the garden but they may run all over the place. im gonna make a separate area for them.

    i made a scare crow. he looks like carl edwards.

    Water melons are not "neat", I like things in nice neat rows.:flowers:

    Agree. That climbing and crawling stuff takes up to much space for what you get.

    2 rows half runner beans
    2 rows corn

    Mine is a mini garden

    Planted in 9 5'x8' x10" boxes
    filled with river sand top soil manure and compost

    A seperate box is my herb box

    we put in a 12'x6' plot, separate from the main garden, just for the water melons. we had some pine logs and cut them for the border. i fashoined some trelis, for the cucumber and zucchini, from metal fence posts and concrete reinforcing wire.

    have you ever grown the bell peppers and carrots before? curious to see how well they turn out here. I thought about doing them this year, but stuck with tomatoes, cantaloupe, squash, raspberrys, we also planted 2 blueberry bushes too.
