Thanks. They're good, could be tangier. There're still light years better than grocery store ones.

Ummm, green beans simmered in fatback or sidemeat..Euphoria.

i am doing my very first garden this year. its been plowed, and tilled. its about 50' x 25'. 3 rows of corn, 1 row of better boy and cherry 'maters, 1 row each of squash, cucumbers, bell peppers, and some water melons. the corn is already in the ground.

I have potatoes, broccoli, cabbage and head lettuce (first time I've tried this) in the ground, I'm waiting a few weeks for the rest, I hate trying to cover things when there is a frost threat. I took a cue from Token and started some squash and melon seeds in cups this year.

Planted everything last weekend. Got down to 38 last night but luckily no frost. Trying the tomatoes in pots this year to see what happens.

Haven't planted a thing yet. Haven't even tilled yet either. I'll wait till around may 15th to plant tomatoes and all the other tender stuff. I did start some cabbage plants but only a few have survived the pouncing of my cat.

I'd like to get it tilled and worked up but my brother has all his equipment at this one job trying to get this land done and ready to sell.
