All you "experts" who wanted to start Moore

As long as John Fox is the coach of the Panthers ya'll are going to SUCK... If you think Moore will take you to the playoffs you are Crazy...

 

oh, definitely. Plenty has changed. That wasn't the specific point, but certainly once we did go with Moore in 07 he performed well also. Vinny was the smart choice at the time of this thread because he could do it for a game, game and a half and be efficient, coupled with our solid run game at the time it was enough to be competitive.

Vinny just couldn't do it for more than about 80 snaps at a time.

On Moore's first NFL snap, he completed a beautiful go route to, of all folks, Keary Colbert.

I was sold at the Dallas game in 07. I had a good seat at that game, and saw him standing tall in a chaotic pocket, making some nice ass throws to Smitty and Carter. That was the game that told me we could have a future starter.

Hope he does well this year. I think he will.
