    I am not a carolina fan but I think it would be cool to win the NIT. It shows that the team did not quit even after not making the NCAA tournament.

    Especially after so much talk of this being the weakest at-large field in the history of the tournament. I was hoping VT would win that way an ACC team would be in the finals.

    Anything this team can do positive would be a plus I would think. They are a young team , that has been injury plagued this year, with role players as upperclassmen trying to lead the team.

    95% of Tar Heel fans, you know the bandwagoners that were everywhere last year and no where to be seen this year. Alumni probably aren't thrilled about the NIT, but they shouldn't be embarrassed.
