bitching about the money is probably more a personal issue to me,I recently had surgery so every bit counts.

as far as moves I would have like to seen an attempt at another WR like say Boldin. The teams history of drafting WR's isn't exactly stellar.

btw the argument about tickets prices only goes so much, prices are based on cost of living/income levels of the city they are at.

this is a legit area for fans to be critical. i don't think there's an immediate starter in that group that's projected to be around our pick. does anyone seriously think gilyard or etc is going to come in and deliver 800 yards and 6 tds or so? maybe it will be jarrett's breakout year. of course we hear that every year, and how he's pro bowl of the practice field, and...well...umm...yeah.

panther fan base, on the whole, sucks dick.

mags--correct. mediocrity is something that we have rarely experienced. This franchise is like 15 years old. To put that in perspective, Bill Cowher coached in Pittsburgh almost as long as this franchise has existed.

as for the price hike, so the fuck what? jesus, scoop the shit from your ash tray to make up the difference. or watch the fucking games from home.

Boldin was too expensive for a guy that hasn't been able to stay on the field the last few years. Burleson got $5 mil a year...which is insane for him, IMO. Bryant is a headcase and coming off a pretty serious injury.

As for the cost of living...the three cities i mentioned earlier all have cost of living LOWER than charlotte and an average ticket price HIGHER than the Panthers. Not to mention that those three teams have had quite a bit of suckage over the last decade.

Sorry you are dealing with a recent surgery. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

I think they have done a good job in putting us where we are right now. There are no bad contract holding us down. We still have a good base of talent. Certainly we could use some help in some areas like WR but I expect this team to compete for the playoffs and even the division even if no significant additions are made.
