    Oatmeal bread is very good.
Also bake some sweet potatoes and make a toping of butter, brown sugar and oatmeal to put on top. You'll be eating about as healthy as possible.

    Popular in the 70's

    OATMEAL MEATLOAF

    1 c. tomato juice
    3/4 c. Quaker oats
    1 egg
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients except ground beef. Mix well. Add ground beef, mix lightly but thoroughly. Press into 8 x 4 inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour. Drain, let stand 5 minutes.
HINT: This better when it's refrigerated then re-heated.

I might try one of those. I have been eating the instant stuff for breakfast and it seems to hold my hunger at bay longer than anything else I have tried.

Put some honey, molasses, or syrup in it.

I am sure that would make it taste better but it might make it less effective for weight loss purposes........

Not sure if they have it in the instant version but I like the Steel cut variety. Loads of fiber and makes you shit like a goose. I like it at home and the instant variety when at work. 2 envelopes, 1 flavored and one plain combined
